Why IIT?

Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are institutes of academic excellence. At present we have seventeenth institutes located in Mumbai, Kanpur, Delhi, Kharagpur, Chennai, Roorkee and Guwahati, Ropar, Bhubaneswar, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Indore, Mandi, Patna, Jodhpur, IIT (BHU). IITs is also known for conducting country’s most hard-hitting competitive exam for its admission, Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). On this year, 2013, there were 14 lakh candidates that appeared for the exam. Out of lakhs, only few thousands get the privilege to outshine themselves from such prestigious institutes.
